MAZE DAY 2024

MAZE Day will take place from Monday, August 5th to Wednesday, August 7th.

If you are not able to attend on your MAZE Day, we will have a Make-Up – MAZE Day on Tuesday 8/13 from 1:00 – 2:30 PM.

If you are unable to come to any of the MAZE Day times you will need to complete the online portions of MAZE Day before the first day of school and then report to the cafeteria at the end of the school day on the first day of school to complete your registration.

During MAZE Day, students will go through a series of stations to take ID pictures, receive their class schedule, choose their lockers, and more! The Viking Vendor will be open for students to buy any school merch they need, and clubs will also host booths for students to learn about all the active clubs on campus and sign up for those that they find interesting!

Maze Day is a student-only event. It should take students about an hour to complete the MAZE process.

Freshmen have a special orientation during MAZE Day. As freshmen check in, they will be partnered with a Link Crew Leader who will take them on an orientation tour in addition to completing the MAZE Day stations. Freshmen will take an hour and a half to complete their MAZE Day Experience. During the Freshmen Maze Day on Wednesday there will be a parents area near the courtyard with orientation information for parents to learn more about Irvington High School while their students complete the MAZE process.

Stay updated on the latest line information during MAZE Day by following @ihsbluecrew on Instagram. Every 20 minutes, we’ll post updates to let you know if the lines are short and it’s safe to go, or if there’s a backup and you should delay your visit.

BEFORE MAZE DAY:

Complete online district forms on Aeries Campus Portal. These forms must be completed online before Maze Day for students to receive their schedule.

Step 1: Check In

Enter at the victory tunnel located near the main gym next to the Parking Lot. We will have signs to help guide you.

Step 2: School Pictures and ID Photos

All students will be taking their ID Photo during Maze Day. For 9th, 10th, and 11th grade these same pictures are used for the yearbook.

You can order copies of your photos taken on MAZE Day online at mylifetouch.com. Unlike past years you do not need a code, you can use your Student ID number to order pictures before or after Maze Day. Packages ordered will be delivered to the school in early September and available for pick up from the Viking Vendor. You can also download the order form and bring the form on the day of your Maze Day. However, ordering online is preferred. Packages can be ordered all year. If you do not like the picture you ordered, retakes are available on October 3rd in the Cafeteria for students who ordered picture packets.

Seniors you need to schedule your senior portrait at https://prestigeportraits.com for your picture to be in the yearbook. Deadline for Seniors is in December so don’t wait!
