Berkeley Math Tournament Information
BMT registration is open! Register at tinyurl.com/bmtregistration2627! As a reminder, BMT is a team competition, with a max of 6 people per team (5-6 is recommended). Make sure everyone in your team submits the form by Wednesday, Oct. 14 for a nice discount. The last call deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 28, but prices will be $5 more. If you do not have a team, still fill out the form and we will try to put you in a team
Message from BMT Staff about transportation if you are planning to take the BART
“If you’re not doing that, then people under the age of 19 (so all the competitors) are eligible for a 50% discount through the Youth Clipper Card program. To apply for a Youth Clipper Card (with the 50% discount), the competitors have to fill out this form (https://docs.clippercard.com/brochures/en/Clipper_Youth_Senior_Combined_App_EN_2025.pdf) and email it to them alongside a photo of proof of age (if your school district does dates-of-birth on student IDs, that’s valid, if not it’d have to be a passport/birthcertificate or a drivers licence/REAL ID for those who have them). In seven BUSINESS DAYS (a week-and-a-half), they will be mailed a Youth Clipper Card which they can use until they turn 19, so if you all are doing this, please don’t wait because hounding people down to fill out a form tends to take a while.”
